My checkout isn't working, what should I do?
Firstly you'll need to identify the exact problem, i.e. what part of the checkout isn't working?
Problem: Customers can't add items to their basket
Check whether its a specific item that can't be added to the basket or any item.
If its a specific item then check whether the product has variations and if the variations are setup correctly. You should also check that the product is active and in stock. If you are still experiencing problems please contact us.
If no item can be added to the basket please contact us immediately.
Problem: Customers can't choose a delivery rate
If your customers can't choose a delivery rate at checkout or get an error message about delivery rates, please check your delivery rates to make sure that there is a delivery rate that covers the basket of goods they are purchasing.
Some things to check for:
i) If you're charging based on the weight of items, check that the items in the basket all have a weight entered for them. Check that there is a delivery rate covering the total weight of their basket.
ii) If you're charged based on the price of items, check that there is a delivery rate covering the total value of items in the basket.
If you've checked your delivery rates and still can't find the problem please contact us immediately.
Problem: Customers can't get past the shopping basket
If your customers can't get past the shopping basket stage please check that there isn't a problem with your delivery rates (described in the section above).
If you have checked your delivery rates but still can't find the problem please contact us immediately.
Problem: Customers can't get through to payment
If your customers can enter their address information but don't have a button to click on to pay (like a 'pay by paypal' or 'proceed to payment' button) then you'll need to make sure that you have setup your payment gateway(s) properly.
If an error is presented to the user when going through to your payment gateway please check the details that you have entered for your gateway with your gateway provider.
