How to manage your newsletter subscribers
If you have setup your website's newsletter form to integrate directly into Mailchimp your newsletter subscribers will not be accessible from the subscribers page in your account, instead you'll need to login to your Mailchimp account directly. You'll still be able to view/download customers that have indicated they want to receive marketing communications from you.
When a customer creates an account on your website or makes a purchase, they'll be asked whether they want to receive marketing communications from you. If they tick yes then they'll be marked down as a newsletter subscriber.
And if you haven't linked up your newsletter form to feed directly into a third party website like Mailchimp, then similarly whenever a user enters their email address on your newsletter form, they'll be marked down as a newsletter subscriber too.
You can access the details of your subscribers by selecting 'marketing' from the left hand menu and then 'newsletter subscribers'.
When the page loads you'll see a list of your subscribers.
You can use the search box to search for a particular subscriber by name or email address, or use the 'view' drop down to filter the results according to the type of subscriber (e.g. registered customer).
Downloading your subscribers data
There's a 'download all' button in the top right of this page, click this.
The list will then be downloaded in a spreadsheet (csv) file to your computer's hard drive.
Once you've downloaded your subscribers you'll see another button labelled 'download recent'.
You can click this button to only download new subscribers (created since the last download).
The last time you downloaded is shown on the left hand side of the button.
