Setting up PayPal on your website

Installing PayPal on your website is easy and if you don't have a PayPal account already you can sign up for one right through your account.

1. Select 'checkout' from the left menu and then 'payment gateway'.

2. At the top of the page click the 'connect with PayPal' button. This will prompt you to login to your PayPal account or, if you don't have one, to create one.

3. Once you've finished the setup process, PayPal will be automatically configured and activated on your website.

You don't need to do anything else.

Important!

We recommend that you test PayPal on your store to make sure that the installation is working correctly.

Once you've activated PayPal we'll automatically display a PayPal Checkout button on your website's shopping basket page (to allow users to bypass normal checkout if they want to) and also place a Pay with PayPal button on your website's checkout (next to any other payment gateways that you have activated).

You can read more about PayPal here.

Once PayPal is activated you'll be able to configure some basic settings about the integration which are demonstrated here.
